“It is because you are breastfeeding and you don’t drink enough water!” -OB to post Cesarean mother who would go 2 or 3 days without urinating, and then would experience spontaneous urinary incontinence, and had no bladder sensation at all. At her second Cesarean 20 months later, a different OB observed that her bladder was in the wrong place causing the incontinence and a failed VBAC attempt.
