“Yep, we’ll be doing a cerclage, and you’ll be scheduled for a cesarean section at the hospital.” – OB to mother at 7 week prenatal appointment for her first pregnancy.  Mother did not have any prior medical problems or questionable history .

“So, when am I going to be seeing you?” – Anesthesiologist to mother walking the halls to help labor along during an induction.

“You’re not, I’m going natural.” -  mother replied.

“Oh, you’ll be screaming for me. They all scream for me in the end.” – Anesthesiologist chuckling while walking away.
