The purpose of the My OB said WHAT?!? site is not to individually embarrass anyone, but to make a statement that the words and actions of the people working around birthing women and new mothers have great and lasting impact, for good or for bad.
At this time, we are not set up to publish pictures.
We are a group of birth care professionals who have worked around birthing women for many years, and felt that there needed to be a forum for people to share comments like those found on our blog.
Our affiliate ad programs place ads on the site in line with content. Sometimes, they get a little confused. When we notice an inappropriate ad, we request that advertiser be removed from our site, but sometimes the ad program is slow or unresponsive in doing so. Please let us know the URL of an inappropriate ad by emailing us at email@example.com
All of the posts are submissions received via email from people around the world. We are assuming that if someone has taken the time to submit something, that they have knowledge of the statement first hand. Could they be lying, yes, but honestly, we feel that almost all the statements are legitimate.
Do you hate Obstetricians?
No, we do not.
“Pink My Link” is a feature that allows the original poster/submitter to come back and tell the rest of the story so that MOSW blog readers can learn some of the back story about the comment. After your submission is posted to the blog, you can come back and tell the rest of the story. When you are submitting your follow-up comment, you will have the option to “Pink My Link” which will highlight your comment in pink, so that it will be highly visible! The blog readers love when the original poster provides more information, so we hope you take advantage of this feature! This is an honor system, so please, only “Pink My Link” if you are the OP!
