Awe! This one was mine. This CNM delivered my first two. After the first birth she said, “You really make me feel like a midwife.” And this was her quote after my second. They were the first and third natural births she attended. She would have attended the third’s birth, but we didn’t make it to the hospital.

Sad thing is that I’m friends with the second one’s mommy… We don’t exactly live in a small town. I guess natural mommas travel in the same circles. LOL She didn’t get to take care of me for my 4th because she moved away, but I actually liked her replacement better. She was much more laid back…

That’s awesome.
I think so many of the comments we get on this site are because the nurses and doctors no longer love their job, if they ever did. But they chose it for a reason, and if they can still connect with it, they can give terrific care.
