Is that one of the reasons to note for a C-section these days? Don’t think so. I guess you’ll either have to get someone else to pick up your kids or get another OB to oversee your patient’s progress. She’s got HER kid to take home from the hospital, you know?

I work in customer service, myself, but never would I tell a customer, “We have to fix your issue by 11:15 so I can go to break on time.”

Remember, doctors are smart! They’re so smart that they know if they’re on call, they need to make alternate arrangements for childcare.

Too bad “Cesarean due to OB wanting to pick up child/ren” isn’t a valid medical reason for a chart, eh? So it turns into a lie in the charts. And disgusting logic and reasoning skills.

Exactly. And then the next doctor looks at your chart and says, “You have XYZ problem. You’ll never give birth vaginally!” (Said to me literally MINUTES before I gave birth to my VBAC baby.)

Nursing is a24-hour job. Thats why we have SHIFT CHANGES! If you desperately have to go, you give a HANDOVER and GO! Then I get a BETTER Nurse who will help me Birth instead of wanting to cut me up!
