This is mine – I arrived at the birth center, sat down, my water broke, I got in the birth tub and pushed out my little tiny boy (ha!) around 45 minutes later. It was a wonderful experience! When he was in my arms, I was like, “Really? That’s it? But I didn’t even get to play my carefully-crafted birth playlist!!”
And while in the moment I wouldn’t say it was easy, in hindsight it really, really was. Nobody was expecting that he would be so big, and I’m glad I didn’t know beforehand. 
It was just so great to have the supportive, non-invasive midwife and apprentices there. Nobody was rushing around, nobody was freaking out, it was quiet and dim and very peaceful. Really a testament to how great natural birth can be, even with the fearsome “big baby.”

Congrats! I have big babies too! My biggest was 10lbs 6oz. I would have to say that having big babies is easier than pushing out smaller babies, it just seems like there is more to push against. Especially when you are allowed to move around however your body dictates.
