The hands and knees delivery wasn’t planned (baby started coming out in the caul when I was standing at the foot of the bed), but the OB on call (whom I’d never met before) didn’t bat an eye when he came in and I was on my hands and knees on the bed. The L&D nurses all nicknamed me “Rockstar Mom” because they were so impressed. It was a good experience all around!

I labored on my hands and knees too! It made my birth experience just that more special. congrats on your baby and amazing birthing experience. Props to a great OB that let you do what you know was best for you.
