I’m proud of how I got mine, but I still don’t like them…
My sister calls hers badges of honor.
And I’m glad this midwife was supportive and respectful of different body types.

I know I am in a minority, but I truly love my stretchmarks for themselves. I think they’re just really awesome. My mom has a hard time with this, she thinks I need to love them “for a reason”. How ’bout, they’re part of my body and I love my body?

Me too! Mine only developed over other scars that were already there (so all my old pock-marks & belly-piercing scars became stretchmarks) & they turned into this really cool pattern – I think it looks like a Phoenix surrounded by flames, haha!

I too have grown to love my stretch marks over time. They are part of who I am today and remind me of the wonderful, life-changing experience that was my son’s birth!
