“Wow, your baby is going to be huge! Don’t worry. Your body was made for this! You can do it and I will be here with you the whole time!” – Midwife to mother who was being encouraged by other providers to just schedule a section for a suspected large baby.

this was mine. my daughter was born (by medically needed induction) at 38 weeks 6 days at a whopping 5 pounds 9 ounces!!!!!!!!!!!! She stopped growing at 37 weeks and combined with the allergic reaction i had to medications I was taking that pregnancy we decided to induce. HUGE i tell ya! (she is not 12 months old and 17lbs 10 oz! still tiny!
