My OB said WHAT?!? made Ten Best Pregnancy and Birth Blogs of 2010 on Babble.com! Yeah us! Yeah you!
We owe a big thanks to all the women (and a few men) who send in submissions (and come back and PINK THEIR LINK,) comment with gusto, and offer a show of support for those who were hurt or harmed by the insensitive words of professionals who care for birthing women.
Words matter, kindness cost nothing and women remember what was said to them for many, many years to come.
Looking forward to 2011 and open to your suggestions and comments for improving our blog. Share them with us, if you get a chance.
Thanks for your support!
Also a suggestion: When sending in submissions, the instructions on the website should include a request for background info, outcome of the story, gender of the care provider, etc.
Also, when posting a submission, please include relevant info, if submitted, to help put the comment in context.
Thanks for an excellent blog!

Dislike these words.

This is a great site but I do have one suggestion. Get of either Popular Posts or Recent comments and add a sections for “pinked links”. Honestly, everyday I scroll back through the previous weeks submissions looking for pink so I can read the back ground story. It would be so much more helpful if I could just look at the side. But apart from that, I LOVE this site. visit it everyday.

I think a recently pinked link section would be awesome! I occasionally go back through a few posts looking for pink, but that would make it much easier to follow up and get the full story =)
