It seems like pretty much every time I hear about a GP attending a birth, it turns out really well and the doc takes awesome care of the mom.

Anytime a doc says “Wow!” to a woman about what her body is doing in labor, I get a little misty eyed. Yay!

This was my doula client’s doctor. She was absolutely lovely. I got the feeling she actually believed that birth is normal. I’ve been trying to send people her way!
