I had an OB use warm compresses. However, she didn’t tell me to stop pushing when the baby’s head crowned, and I ended up with a 3rd degree tear. Didn’t feel it, though.

I like these “Thoughtful Thursdays” Its hard to find supportive positive comments out there and for 1st time mom’s looking to not be scared to death all the time about worst case scenarios they are a relief.
Yes, you have to be educated and learn to protect yourself, but I know there has to be educated supportive hospital’s, OB’s and Nurses out there who talk about how to get through this in a positive manner. Please share those links and resources when you can everyone.
