Thoughtful Thursday! “Thank You, I Needed That.”
“Thank you, I needed that.”- Midwife to mother who had a successful vaginal birth after a very long labor. The midwife had been at some rather difficult births prior to this one.

I know I’ve felt that way before, and very recently. Had 12 births Feb-March bookended by what we call “butter births” and everything in between was challenging and presented huge learning curves. Sometimes, we just need a break from that so we can be renewed and sustained to keep doing the work.
