“If you go home now, I can’t be held responsible for what happens.” -OB after mother refused to be induced on her due date for her first baby, when an Non Stress Test revealed that everything was fine.

I don’t get the “only 5% of babies are born on their due date” statistic – it sounds like just about *every* baby is born on its due date thanks to the magic of inductions… *sigh*

Thats a good point. I am curious if they only include women who went into spontaneous labour in the calculation of how many babies are born on their due date.
