I'm thrilled to still have a baby left, but having all three of my precious children would have been MUCH better. i cannot imagine how hard I would slap a medical provider for saying something like this to me. If a doctor had said this to me, I would have been convinced he'd seen something on the ultrasound that was going to kill one baby and he wanted to prepare me for it. I *have* lost a baby. I've had three more since then, and guess what? They haven't replaced her.
