“Oh my God, Honey…you look like you have a pair of testicles down there!” – L&D nurse during a vaginal exam on a woman who had significant labial swelling.

One has to wonder if this nurse has ever seen a pair of testicals (on anyone other than a newborn) if she thought swollen labia looked like testicals.

Oh please tell me she didn’t say that!! I had a temendous amount of swelling myself and I was worried I wouldn’t look the same again. No one needs to hear how they look ‘down there’ unless they initiate it. Wow.
