Frankly, I wouldn’t want the vagina of a 16 year old. Because the first few times (when I was NINETEEN, thank you very much…way to promote teen pregnancy with that comment about being 16) for me HURT.

I agree completely. It hurt when I was a teen. It also hurt for a year after giving birth to my first with an OB. Strangely enough, it didn’t hurt at all after my second child was born at home.

I had some slight tears after the birth of my daughter (with a CNM thank goodness), which were sewn up and healed nicely. My husband didn’t seem to mind that it wasn’t like I was 16 again (we were married when I was 16! lol). Funny how the OB’s always think the man is that superficial.

My bad! The way I read your comment, it made it seem like you didn’t realize what the OB meant…or had maybe misread the comment (that it would feel like it was tighter, perhaps like having sex with a virgin…not that he WANTED to have sex with a teenager). I was just trying to clarify. Didn’t mean to step on any toes!
