I refused a vag exam from an OB student at my hospital. I had a few instances of contractions but one night I went over GERD and he STILL wanted to do a vag exam. (I’d had one earlier that morning at my OBs office). I point blank refused. If I went in over (hypothetical) sniffles, he’d want to check me. It freaked me out how interested he was in checking my cervix over every little thing. My DH was too.
