“You’re Fine, The Baby Is Fine, But You Could Die!”
“No. You’re fine, the baby is fine, but you could DIE.”-OB recommending a cesarean, when asked by mom if the baby was in distress.

Well, I suppose I could also DIE in a car crash on the ride home, or DIE choking on a watermelon seed, or DIE in my sleep, in my own bed…but I don’t let that stop me from driving eating, or sleeping. People DIE from unnecessary surgery sometimes. Why does no one ever mention that when the mom is “fine” and the baby is “fine?” Hmmm…
