How does this guy have a license??
We have a male nurse who does some postpartum work, and although he has a funny sense of humor about some things, he would NEVER say something like that to a pt! As a matter of fact, he is extremely mindful of the fact that many moms would be more comfortable with a female nurse for some things and doesn’t hesitate to ask one of us to help out when needed.

If he said it instead of calling a female nurse, that’s inappropriate.
If he said it after he agreed to call one, that’s super funny!

I hope that my children remember being nursed when they are grown. One of them already forgot but my 4 year old was only weaned 9 months ago
so he remembers. I hope he retains the memory!

i personally find it funny, perhaps he was a bit insulted at the request and tried to make light of the situation.
