Why not just let a natural tear happen?? I thought this was one of the advantages of going to a midwife—get a more natural approach–how do scissors help?

LOL omg I think she was trying to be funny but yeah i thought midwifes knew that tearing was better then cutting (although my sister in law almost lost a baby becuase the woman was so granola that she refused to cut her even though the baby had been crowning for 1 hour of pushing he went into fetal distress and turned purple) less then 30 seconds after cutting her, he came out and was rused to the NICU so it can be a good thing in some cases but lol this was still an inapropriate thing to say. LOL
